“Imagining Peace,” a fifteen-minute work with narrators upon the subject of peace and justice, to be premiered in Minneapolis, MN on October 28, 2018 by Minnesota Symphonic Winds.  A number of new commissioned works are set for premiere in 2019.

Well, here we go!  I’ve been contemplating entering the self-publishing world for a number of years now, and it just seemed to be the right time this past summer to dive in.  It’s been exciting and a lot more work than I anticipated!  I certainly appreciate having had the expert advice of a number of people in this process.

If ever there was a need for fine arts instruction in our schools, it’s now.  We live in troubled times, lately marked by an unwillingness of leaders to work together toward a common goal.  One only has to read the headlines or watch the news to find example after example of this disturbing and disappointing situation. Important skills appear to be missing.
