Minnesota Symphonic Winds – Premiere of Imagining Peace, a fifteen-minute work with narrators upon the subject of peace and justice, to be premiered at Central Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, MN on October 28, 2018.   Commissioned to mark the construction of new support facilities for this sacred space, as well as the 40th anniversary of the Minnesota Symphonic Winds, a fine community ensemble that received the Sudler Silver Scroll in 2009. November 21-24, 2018

Senzoku Gakuen College of Music (Kawasaki, Japan) – a weeklong residency at which I’ll conduct a full program with the first-year wind ensemble.  The first half of the program will be traditional repertoire (Ponchielli, Jacob, Respighi, Holst), while the second will be all Mahr (Suite for Band, Imagine, if you will… , Noble Element, Bright Side)
